Tracie Henderson is Propel’s Senior Director, Workforce Partnerships. Tracie brings nearly a decade of progressive experience at the intersection of healthcare, education, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership, where she has advised executives, built cross-sector partnerships, and led equity-centered initiatives. Most recently, she served as Director of Community Impact at Jefferson, leading an enterprise-wide strategy to align more than 30 academic outreach and workforce development programs across Jefferson Health, Jefferson Health Plans, and Thomas Jefferson University. In that role, she expanded career pathways for Philadelphia students in healthcare and other high-demand industries, deepened strategic partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations, and secured philanthropic support that advanced programming and positioned Jefferson as a regional anchor for equity, opportunity, and socioeconomic mobility.
Previously, Tracie served as the lead major gift officer for Health Equity and Community Engagement at Jefferson and, in earlier roles, advanced capacity-building and community health initiatives with the American Heart Association, Philadelphia schools, and regional hospitals.
She holds an MBA in Organizational Management, Project Management from Eastern University, an MPH in Urban Health from Drexel University, and a dual BS degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Bridgeport. A Connecticut native now based in the Philadelphia region, Tracie is passionate about fostering inclusive career pathways that expand opportunities for young adults and strengthen the healthcare workforce.
