Propel acts as your intermediary, connecting talent, training, and your organization.

Registered Apprenticeship

Grow your own Medical Assistants, Patient Care Technicians, Sterile Processing Technicians, and Surgical Technicians. Three components build durable talent:

  • On-the-job training with your on-site mentor

  • Accredited technical instruction and certifications, delivered by Propel

  • Clear wage progression as apprentices hit skill milestones

Propel covers tuition, the training partner, coaching for the apprentice and the mentor, and the registered-apprenticeship paperwork. You provide the hire, wages, and an on-site mentor.

State grants and tax credits, including the Work Opportunity Tax Credit and WIOA wage reimbursement, help offset your near-term wage costs.

Clinical Externship (Train to Earn)

Host a Propel Fellow for their supervised clinical externship and meet your next hire before you commit. What your team gains:

  • Added staff capacity at no cost to your clinic

  • A try-before-you-hire pipeline: Fellows finish as certified Medical Assistants, ready to join your team

  • A mentorship opportunity for your staff to grow a rising clinician

  • You are encouraged, but never obligated, to hire

Fellows are stipended and coached by Propel throughout, so the externship adds value to your team at no cost to you.

Propel COACH

Add on-the-job professional coaching and manager support during the early months of tenure, the post-hire layer that protects your investment and lifts retention. Available as a standalone add-on to any hire.
