Denali Lander is Senior Director of Development at Propel America. She previously served as the Executive Director of Youth Run NOLA, a sports-based-youth-development non-profit in New Orleans she helped found in 2010. Denali led the organization’s strategy, fund development, and financial sustainability to support hundreds of young people through the program designed to develop healthier habits and build a more interconnected community through running.

Prior to her full-time role at Youth Run, Denali taught 8th grade English at KIPP New Orleans after starting her career as a high school English teacher at an alternative school as a Teach For America Corps Member. Denali holds a BA in English and History from Tulane University.
