Katherine Roger previously served as the Managing Director of Learning and Implementation for KIPP Texas, one of the largest charter districts in the country, where she set vision and direction for implementation of curriculum and professional learning and development. In this role, she supported 100 middle & senior managers and over 1,000 educators. Prior to her work at KIPP, she was a Principal and school leader in Brooklyn, NY with Achievement First and led her school to double digit gains in Reading and Math. She started her career as a 7th grade teacher in Washington D.C., winning the prestigious Sue Lehmann Excellence in Teacher Leadership Award from Teach For America in 2010. She also worked as a Program Director with Teach For America.
