Faith Carbon

Faith Carbon previously served as a Recruiter at Democracy Prep Public Schools, supporting teacher recruitment for Democracy Prep’s schools in New Jersey, Louisiana, Texas, and Las Vegas. She has also served as the Community Partnership Associate at Brown University’s Swearer Center, where she conducted research on student training and preparation practices within The Swearer Center’s partnerships with Providence Public Schools. More recently, she co-founded a grassroots initiative called TechAction, which works to fund personal computers for students who have been unable to participate in remote learning because of technology limitations. Faith holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Smith College and an MA in Urban Education Policy from Brown University.
