Adam Lord previously served as the Media Director for public high schools in Central Louisiana. His work designing curriculum, delivering state-wide professional development, and helping schools build brand identity twice earned him the honor of regional secondary teacher of the year for Louisiana’s premier education technology conference.
In the classroom, Adam developed a two-year Digital Media course, and has taught history, English, geography, and civics, many as AP courses. He also teaches as an adjunct professor of History in the Louisiana State University system. Adam is a Google-Certified Educator whose writing was featured on the Cult of Pedagogy blog.
Adam holds an MA in Teaching from Louisiana College and an MA in European History from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He earned a B.A. from Louisiana Tech University with a double-major in History and Literature. He will soon begin the Education Policy and Management program at Harvard’s GSE.
